Couples Therapy in Las Vegas, Nevada
Relationships take work — and sometimes the patterns we grew up with make it harder than it has to be. At Soul Ties Therapy PLLC, Danielle Cathey, LMFT, provides compassionate, evidence-based couples therapy in Las Vegas to help partners break free from negative cycles and build the connection they deserve.
Why Couples Seek Therapy
Couples therapy is not just for relationships in crisis. Many couples come in because they feel stuck — having the same arguments, feeling unheard, or drifting apart without knowing why. Therapy offers a neutral, safe space to slow things down and figure out what is actually going on underneath the surface.
Common reasons couples come to Soul Ties Therapy in Las Vegas:
Repetitive arguments that never get resolved
Difficulty communicating feelings without shutting down or escalating
Emotional distance or disconnection after life transitions
Rebuilding trust after infidelity or broken agreements
Parenting conflicts and co-parenting stress
Navigating cultural differences within the relationship
A Culturally Responsive Approach to Couples Counseling
Danielle brings a sociology background and specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment-Based Therapy to her work with couples. She understands that relationship dynamics do not exist in a vacuum — they are shaped by family history, cultural background, race, identity, and systemic context.
Soul Ties Therapy is a BIPOC-affirming practice. Danielle creates a space where couples of all backgrounds — especially those who have not always seen themselves reflected in therapy — feel genuinely welcomed and understood. Her style is warm, direct, and free of judgment.
How Couples Therapy Works at Soul Ties Therapy
Using a holistic, EFT-informed approach, Danielle helps couples identify the deeper emotional needs driving conflict. Rather than just teaching communication scripts, she helps partners understand each other at the level of attachment — why certain moments feel so threatening, and how to move toward each other instead of away.
Sessions are available in person in Las Vegas and online via secure telehealth for couples anywhere in Nevada. Each session is 50 minutes at $125. Insurance accepted includes Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna, Aetna, and Carelon. A sliding scale is available based on household size and income.
